Question 2

• Not at all is much higher than we had expected it to be for the 2nd question
• Could be caused by the fact that there is not a lot of software or programs available for lower grade students K-2

• "Informed decisions" part may have been overlooked in the question - should have been an or instead of an and

Question 4

• This is something we are growing and improving in;
• We as a staff need to have the information as well so that we can pass that on to the students

• A lot of students are coming to us with that basic knowledge - which is helping in schools

• Lacking feedback from many in the district that could skew the results in a different direction

Professional Development

Question 1

• Based on the numbers - we know that we're missing almost half of the teachers responding
• Maybe send out a new one - Thank those that responded and ask those who didn't to please do so

Question 2

• Not surprised that Research is the highest - that is something that kids know how to do and the teachers don't necessarily have to learn something new to use it.
• Appropriate use of technology should be higher - doesn't have to be formal but should be covered

• A lot of them are high which shows that they're interested but haven't been able to do it

• Based on number 4 - more training needs to be provided for teachers to make them new comfortable
